2024 BMW iX Specs & Features

What's New for 2024?

The 2024 BMW iX has had a few updates for the 2024 model year. First, the optional Driver Assistance Professional package now includes Highway Assist, which allows for hands-free driving at speeds up to 85 miles per hour on certain highways.

Next, the Parking Assistant Professional feature now allows you to park your iX with the tap of a button in the My BMW App. After you pull into a parking spot, the iX can remember the maneuver and then steer into the spot automatically next time. You can save up to 10 different parking locations.

Additionally, updates were made to the preconditioning system, allowing you to heat up your battery before plugging it into a DC Fast Charger for increased charging speed.

2024 BMW iX Exterior Design

The 2024 BMW iX is a midsized luxury SUV with a bold and modern exterior design. The striking front kidney grille design, along with the slim headlights and taillights, give the iX a truly unique look.

The available Sport package adds sportier exterior elements, including a more aggressive body kit, gloss-black Shadowline trim, dark clear taillights, and 21" Aero design wheels. A BMW i Signature Blue Package is also available for the iX xDrive50, adding blue exterior accents around the vehicle.

Nine exterior color options are available, including sophisticated colors like Storm Bay Metallic, Blue Ridge Mountain Metallic, and Aventurin Red Metallic.

2024 BMW iX Interior

The 2024 BMW iX interior seats up to five passengers and has up to 35.5 cubic feet of rear cargo space, which is comparable to the BMW X5 SUV.

Standard interior features include the modern BMW Curved Display instrument cluster/central information screen, wireless device charging, perforated SensaTec upholstery, heated front seats, ambient interior lighting, Panoramic Eclipsing Sky Lounge roof, and cabin preconditioning with the My BMW App.

Available features include massaging and ventilated front seats, perforated leather or microfiber/wool blend upholstery, Glass Controls, and either a Harman Kardon or Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system.

2024 BMW iX Technology

The 2024 BMW iX comes standard with the iDrive 8 Operating System, which includes Remote Software Upgrades to keep your vehicle up-to-date with the latest features, and BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, which can help you perform various functions with simple voice commands.

ShyTech features can also be found around the iX, including the self-healing Intelligence Panel front kidney grille, functional BMW badges for washer fluid and the rear view camera, and touch-sensitive surfaces in the open-pore wood trim.

Additionally, the 2024 BMW iX has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility as standard.

Available technology features include a head-up display, enhanced parking camera with 3D view, and Highway Assistant, which enables attentive hands-free driving at speeds up to 85 mph on controlled-access highways.

2024 BMW iX Performance

The 2024 BMW iX M60 has 610 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in only 3.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 130 MPH. The iX xDrive50 has a range of up to 311 miles** and can get 90 miles of range with only 10 minutes of charging at a DC Fast Charger.

Standard performance features include xDrive dual-motor all-wheel drive, DC Fast Charging capability up to 195 kW, and a one-pedal driving mode.

Available features include M Sport Brakes, Integral Active Steering with rear-axle steering, and air suspension.
